survival course to level 6

survival course:

requirement: child must be able to hold their head up and sit independently for at least one minute.

(no age requirement)

our survival course focuses on what to do if your child ever enters the water unexpectedly. through gentle, guided lessons, we build trust, safety, and self-rescue skills every child should know!

your child will learn to: float calmly and confidently, roll onto their back from any position or direction, use their natural buoyancy to stay afloat, find and reach the surface of the water, control their breath, call for help, grab the pools edge and climb out independently

after completion, your child will take a water safety test, entering the water fully clothed to demonstrate their new skills. upon passing, parents or caregivers will attend a four- day course with their child to ensure safe practices continue at home.

level one:

requirement: completion of survival course

(no age requirement)

level 1 transitions your child from survival to swimming! children learn comfort, control, and independence in the water while continuing to practice self- rescue skills.

your child will learn to: maintain proper body position for efficient movement, strength breath control, swim short distances independently, explore underwater safely, feel comfortable in all areas of the pool(deep end, walls, rocks, waterfalls, ect)

level two:

requirement: completion of survival course and level 1

(recommended age 2+)

level 2: strengthens your childs swimming foundation. we build endurance and introduce basic strokes though fun and positive guidance.

your child will learn to: preform the backstroke we call “chicken, airplane, soldier”, tread water independently, increase endurance and stamina, float and breath efficiently, apply safety and self-awareness in deeper water.

level three:

requirement: completion of survival course and levels 1 and 2!

level 3: focuses on stroke technique and rhythm, refining backstroke movements. students develope coordination, timing, and strong breath control.

your child with learn to: preform freestyle and back stroke with coordinated breathing, kick efficiently with correct body alignment, increase endurance through lap practice, build underwater confidence and awareness.

level four:

requirement: completion of survival course levels 1, 2 and 3

level 4: swimmers begin refining technique and building endurance across multiple strokes. we focus on efficiency, confidence, and responsibility in the water

your child will learn to: refine freestyle and backstroke, be introduce to breaststroke and dolphin kick, master rhythmic side breathing, swim laps independently, strengthen overall endurance and control.

levels five and six:

requirement: completion of survival course and levels 1-4

level 5 &6: our combo and group lesson! this is a fun class where children get to develope advanced techniques, strength, and confidence. swimmers refine all four competitive strokes, learn advanced water safety, and build teamwork and leadership skills

your child will learn to: master freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke, be introduced to butterfly and flip turns, build endurance through lap and timed swims, practice open-water and current safety, demonstrate teamwork and sportmanship in group settings.
