Level 3: Stroke Development
Requirement: Completion of Levels 1 & 2
Age: 3 years and older
Level 3 focuses on stroke technique and rhythm, introducing freestyle and refining backstroke movements. Students develop coordination, timing, and strong breath control.
Your child will learn to:
• Perform freestyle (front crawl) and backstroke with coordinated breathing
• Kick efficiently with correct body alignment
• Increase endurance through lap practice
• Build underwater confidence and awareness
Safety Lessons Include:
• Looking before diving or jumping (“Look Before You Leap”)
• Recognizing weather and water conditions before swimming
• Staying calm if tired or in trouble (“Think So You Don’t Sink”)
• Using safe exits and entry points around natural and man-made water areas
